Heidelberg, Germany – June 5, 2024 – Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (HEIDELBERG), a global leader in the printing industry, announced today a change in leadership and an expansion of its Management Board. Effective July 1, 2024, Jürgen Otto will succeed Dr. Ludwin Monz as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Dr. Monz has chosen to step down from his role as Chairman of the Management Board and will leave the board entirely by June 30, 2024.

In addition, Dr. David Schmedding, currently Head of Sales at HEIDELBERG, will join the Management Board as Chief Sales and Service Officer, effective July 1, 2024.

Dr. Martin Sonnenschein, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, acknowledged Dr. Monz's significant contributions to HEIDELBERG: "We are grateful for Dr. Monz's strategic and operational leadership, which has strengthened our company's foundation in a challenging market."
