SHERIDAN, WYOMING - December 2, 2025 - Ricoh has introduced its new IM Cxx01CE A3 color multifunction series, positioning the IM C2501CE, IM C3501CE and IM C5501CE as a new sustainability benchmark for office print fleets by combining high reuse rates, lower CO₂ footprint and upgraded security with cloud-ready workflows.
Circular-economy design with high reuse and lower CO₂ footprint
Developed explicitly with circular-economy principles in mind, the new IM Cxx01CE models are manufactured using over 86% reused components and deliver a CO₂ footprint reduced by around 50% compared to comparable multifunction systems. By building on existing hardware resources and refreshing them with the latest security and performance elements, Ricoh enables customers to pursue sustainability targets while maintaining familiar functionality and reliability.
Energy efficiency has also been optimized: low TEC values and an intelligent energy-saving mode help minimize power consumption in everyday use. Additional reused options further improve cost-efficiency, allowing organizations to reduce both operating expenditure and environmental impact without sacrificing capability.
Performance, flexibility and user-centric operation
The IM Cxx01CE series is designed to cover a broad range of office and departmental scenarios, with print speeds of 25, 35 or 55 pages per minute depending on the model. All systems can be configured with a simple scanner cover, an Automatic Reversing Document Feeder (ARDF) or a Single-Pass Document Feeder (SPDF), supporting both basic and more demanding document-capture workflows.
A 10.1-inch Smart Operation Panel provides an intuitive, touch-based interface with document preview directly on the device. This helps reduce errors, streamline job setup and supports smoother workflows, freeing employees to spend more time on core, value-adding tasks instead of managing print jobs.
Cloud integration and workflow automation for modern workplaces
To support digital workplace strategies, the IM Cxx01CE series integrates seamlessly with cloud platforms and process automation tools such as RICOH CloudStream and RICOH Smart Integration (RSI). This allows organizations to connect print and scan workflows to cloud repositories, business applications and automated approval chains, turning the MFP into a secure on-ramp for end-to-end digital processes.
By linking device functions with automation services, businesses can standardize document handling across locations, reduce manual steps and improve traceability-key requirements for compliance-focused and hybrid working environments.
Security-by-design with TPM 2.0 and continuous updates
Security is a core element of the new platform. A TPM 2.0 security chip provides device-level protection and encryption, while privileged user accounts restrict access to critical functions to authorized personnel. This helps IT and security teams align the print infrastructure with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
Ricoh's Always Current Technology ensures systems remain up to date through automatic firmware and feature updates, providing continuous protection against emerging threats and delivering ongoing functional enhancements over the lifecycle of the devices.
Supporting sustainability, local value creation and employee experience
Produced in Europe using existing resources, the IM Cxx01CE series is designed to support corporate sustainability agendas while reinforcing local value creation. At the same time, the devices' workflow capabilities, automation options and usability improvements are intended to boost employee efficiency and satisfaction by reducing friction in everyday document tasks.
Ingo Wittrock, Regional Director Marketing Central & Eastern Europe and New Work expert at Ricoh Germany, underlined the strategic intent: „Wir haben eine Multifunktionsdruckserie entwickelt, die Nachhaltigkeit und Kosteneffizienz in den Mittelpunkt stellt.
For sustainability managers, IT leaders and facilities teams, the IM Cxx01CE line offers a pathway to modernize A3 color fleets, cut environmental impact and align document workflows with broader ESG and digital-transformation programs-without compromising on security or user experience.
